Just kidding.
New wheels and tires. 15" Konig Wide Open’s with my second favorite street-able tire, Nitto NT-05's.
Nice offset and width too. Now I just need to auto-x

“Bottom out over a Pop Tart!”
Nice wheels though

Nice wheels but why not a Hankook Rs3, Rival S, Bridgestone re71 or Dunlop Z2. Might as well have grip as well short tire life.

Looks fun! What’s your favorite street-able tire?

Nice endorsement for the NT05's. Been thinking of those in a 275/35/20 & 305/30/20 when my new wheels get here. The only “legit” options in that size seem to be those or Michelin PSS.

I’ve used NT-05's and NT-01's on numerous cars and I have nothing but praise for the tires.

The NT-01.
I used them on my old S197 and they were amazing.

I had NT-01's on my last car and loved them. NT-05's are also much cheaper than a set of Michelin PSS, though I'm wondering if they would last as long. The 200 tread wear ratings are mostly BS anymore lol.

They are all similar tires in terms of tread design and UTQG ratings. I have had much success with the Nitto’s so they are my preferred brand.

Ah buddy has them on his c5 z. Overall grip was way way less than the current 200tw front runners. He wanted rivals but they were out of stock. This time the rivals are going on.

Nice wheel and tire combo! Bad news: you’re probably going STR class with the 15x8 wheels. If they have a local “run for fun with other guys and just compare your raw times” class or a novice class, then rock those instead. My local region has a “cookie class” where there is no handicap pax for different class builds, just run “CC” on your car with your number and compare your raw times with the other cookie-munchers.
I wish I could mount NT-05s, but at the same time people are dominating with the RE-71Rs.
